This event seeks to bring together individuals interested in exploring the use of computational methods to facilitate the documentation and study of endangered languages. It consists of a one-day ACL workshop, where papers will be presented addressing topics at the intersection of computational linguistic and endangered languages research, followed by a closed meeting where the focus will be on how to encourage more such work in the future. Further discussion can be found in this edited version of the original workshop proposal.
