Critical Language Scholarship Program (CLS)

The Critical Language Scholarship Program (CLS) is a fully-funded overseas language and cultural immersion program for American undergraduate and graduate students.

  • University deadline: A campus nomination is not required, but prospective applicants are encouraged to consult with our office in advance of the deadline.
  • External deadline: Nov. 19.

Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship

The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship is awarded to sophomores and juniors who have outstanding potential and intend to pursue advanced degrees in mathematics, natural sciences and engineering.

  • University deadline: Nov. 15.
  • External deadline: Jan. 31.
