The Project
The OASIS Project is the largest and most important financial-systems implementation ever undertaken by the Research Foundation. The scope of the OASIS project is to implement the Web-based ORACLE suite of business applications to replace the RF's existing software systems located on the mainframe. Financial, grants management, procurement and human-resource modules will be implemented. More than 60 RF central and campus staff members have been working full-time on the project for more than two years. Implementation is scheduled for Jan. 1, 2001.
