"Doc" is home at dental school

"Doc," of "Herd About Buffalo" fame, has found a home in the School of Dental Medicine. Staff, students and faculty collected $2,800 to commission Doc from sculptor William Davis Wilson, and $5,000 to buy him at auction. The effort was spearheaded by Robert Genco, professor and chair of the Department of Oral Biology and director of the new Center for Advanced Biomedical and Bioengineering Technologies (CABBT), and his wife, Sandra (pictured above with Russell Nisengard, right, interim dean of the dental school).
