The CBLS cleanroom is an ISO 6 and ISO 7 certified multidisciplinary facility with bay and chase structured research space, located on UB's Downtown Campus in Buffalo. It houses state-of-the-art microfabrication tools and specialized equipment for thin film processing, photolithography, materials characterization and other high-tech processes.

The Center for Computational Research is one of the leading academic supercomputing facilities in the United States maintaining a high-performance computing environment, high-end visualization laboratories, and support staff with expertise in computing, visualization, and networking.
The Proteomics and Bioanalysis Core focuses on ultra-sensitive quantification of small-molecule analytes such as drugs, metabolites, and biomolecules; comprehensive protein expression profiling and differential proteome analysis; and ultra-sensitive quantification of proteins/peptides.
The UB Genomics and Bioinformatics Core offers high-throughput, next-generation sequencing using the Roche/454 Genome Sequencer and Illumina Genome Analyzer platforms. It also provides gene-expression analysis services, including 3’-expresion, miRNA, exon, and gene arrays on Affymetrix platforms.
The 1,500-square-foot CBLS Cleanroom is located in UB's New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences (CBLS) on UB's Downtown Campus in Buffalo. Part of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, the CBLS is close to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo General Medical Center, UB's Clinical and Translational Research Center, and other leading institutions.
