Each year the Office of Government and Community Relations leads a variety of programs that engage our students, faculty and staff with our surrounding neighborhoods and community members.

    UB’s nationally recognized SEFA campaign gives employees the opportunity to donate to organizations in Western New York and beyond.

    Every spring and fall UB students roll up their sleeves and join with community members to work on neighborhood improvement projects.
  • Operation Doorhanger

    Each year before the start of the academic year, UB distributes kits containing tips on how to be a good neighbor as well as other important information to students and neighborhood residents.

    Our university employees donate thousands of supplies at the start of every academic year to support the brightest young minds throughout the city.
