Research Information Systems has merged with the former computer department of The Research Institute on Addictions to bring researchers the best possible team to help meet their project goals.

How we can help
RIS offers onsite development of computer assisted interviewing via the use of UNICOM Data Analytics Software and/or RedCap integrated with the desktop workflow application HCL Domino. Using custom views, a project can be managed via calendar and/or participant database. Set appointments, assign staff and manage the daily workflow of your project.
Through online screening, eligible participants and contact information are automatically imported into your database. Monitor/track participation with realtime data from online questionnaires, EMA (daily diary) or Forms. Manage payments using automatic payment calculations and scheduling.
All tools are completely customizable to fit the needs of your project.
Ability to uniformly store and deliver project data in most standard formats for analysis. RIS maintains several database options. Oracle and SQL Server databases are used for large scale data processing, data management and archival schemas, customized to meet individual project requirements. SQL Server, MS Access, HCL Domino DB, MySQL and Sybase databases are also employed and available to University Researchers and Staff.
