UB's Social and Behavioral Research Support Office (BRO) offers guidance for faculty members and students engaged in non-clinical research activities.
We have compiled several self-help resources to assist you in developing IRB protocols. Please review these materials before contacting our office with additional questions. Students and residents also need to work with their advisors in developing protocols.
We are available to present to units or classes on IRB protocol development. Please contact us to schedule a time and discuss content for a presentation.
The BRO will be coordinating the scientific review process for many non-clinical departments. We will post the process once confirmed and operational.
