Through Cultivator — a new program from the startup ventures team at Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships (BEP) — UB invests up to $100,000 and nine months of mentorship in early-stage companies founded by students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members.
The UB Teacher Residency Program, which has been lauded as a nationwide model for addressing the country’s K-12 teacher shortage, has been awarded $3.5 million to expand its reach in Western New York.
Each year before the start of the academic year, UB distributes kits containing tips on how to be a good neighbor as well as other important information to students and neighborhood residents.
