Gene named for mythical Irish land could aid muscle function after traumatic nerve injuries

A study, co-authored by Stelios Andreadis, is exploring how a gene, called NANOG, can improve the regrowth of damaged nerves and lead to new therapies for severe nerve injuries. Medical Xpress also reported on the study.
