About Marissa Antonczyk
Marissa Antonczyk is a seasoned leader in the footwear industry with over 18 years of experience in product development and design. Known for driving innovation and growth, she has successfully led teams and overseen the development of high-profile footwear collections for some of the most recognized brands in fashion. Recently, Marissa launched her own footwear design consultancy, providing expert guidance to brands across the women’s and kids’ segments. Prior to consulting, she led design and product development for renowned labels like Sam Edelman, Nordstrom, and Nina Shoes. Throughout her career, Marissa has blended creativity, strategy, and business growth to deliver exceptional footwear collections that meet both aesthetic and functional needs.

Marissa holds an AAS in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York and a BA in Studio Art from the University at Buffalo (UB). She has been featured in Footwear News’ annual Women in Power edition (2017 & 2018) and has served as a mentor for the Women in the Footwear Industry (WIFI) Mentoring Program. Marissa has also worked internationally, collaborating with teams in Europe, China, and the U.S., and possesses a strong background in hand sketching, product development, and managing large creative teams.
