The committee leading the search for a new dean for the College of Arts and Sciences is holding listening sessions to discuss campus interests and priorities for the search.
A session for College of Arts and Sciences’ faculty only will take place from 4-5 p.m. Feb. 2 in the Honors College Colloquium Room, 107 Capen Hall, North Campus. A session from 4-5 p.m. Feb. 3 in Baird Recital Hall, 250 Baird hall, North Campus, is open to all.
Members of the university community who cannot attend a listening session but would like to offer input to the committee may do so online. The survey site will remain open for comments and questions throughout the search; all information collected is confidential.
A search website is now active with information on the search process, committee, communications, and application and nomination procedures. Additional information will be posted on the site as it becomes available.
The search committee is co-chaired by Robert Shibley, dean and professor, School of Architecture and Planning, and Diana Aga, Henry M. Woodburn Professor of Chemistry and director of graduate studies, Department of Chemistry.
