Over the past century, more than 3,000 women have become "sisters in law," thanks to the education they have received at the UB Law School. These remarkable women have contributed to the betterment of not only the law-school community, but also the nation's legal profession.

The schools of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Health Related Professions and Social Work at the University at Buffalo are collaborating with Upstate New York Transplant Services, Inc. (UNYTS) on a three-year, $810,000 grant to develop ways to increase organ donation in the African-American community.
