The news release issued last week by the University at Buffalo Office of News Services and containing the headline "REGULAR COCAINE USE MAY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 1-IN-4 NON-FATAL HEART ATTACKS IN YOUNG PEOPLE, STUDY FINDS" contained an incorrect embargo date.

The correct embargo date is 4 p.m. January 29, 2001 and the information contained in the news release should not be used until that day and time.

Media reports based on information contained in the news release should be retracted until 4 p.m. January 29.
