Suspect Arrested in Campus Robbery/Safety Reminder

The university community is advised that a student was the victim of a strong arm robbery late last night in the parking lot outside of South Lake Village. The suspect pushed the victim and grabbed her hand bag. A subsequent investigation by the University Police in conjunction with the Amherst and Buffalo Police Departments resulted in the arrest of the suspect.

Members of the university community are reminded to always be cognizant of your surroundings and it is best to walk with others, particularly after dark. Please report any suspicious activity to the University Police at 645-2222.
