The University at Buffalo will announce receipt of a $1 million gift to the UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at a reception to be held at 11 a.m. today (Thursday, February 19, 2009) in the Kaveeshwar Gallery on the fifth floor of Capen Hall on UB's North (Amherst) Campus.
The gift, which is being donated by a family of prominent alumni, will be used to fund building an atrium on the pharmacy school's new flagship building on the UB South (Main Street) Campus, which is scheduled to be completed in 2012.
The Kaveeshwar Gallery is located on the fifth floor of Capen Hall, directly to the right of the elevators.
