Jay Schwartzkopf

Jay Schwartzkopf is managing partner for MHS LLC, a private equity investment partnership focused on multi-family real estate and small business investments up to $10 million. A former member of the UB Alumni Association Board of Directors, Schwartzkopf has been a generous host of a number of "Dinner for 12 Strangers" events held for alumni and students from the School of Management.

He took responsibility for all event logistics, including organizing and inviting attendees, diligent planning and follow-up for dinners held in Virginia, Maryland and on campus. In fact, all of the domestic students from the D-12 held in Buffalo received jobs or internships by semester's end from the alumni in attendance.

Schwartzkopf has supported other university and School of Management initiatives as well. He has been a member of the School of Management Shareholders Society since 2001, and in 2008 was named School of Management Intern Supervisor of the Year.

He and his wife, Kristine, a family nurse practitioner and captain in the U.S. Air Force, reside in Southern New Jersey, where they also own two franchise hair salons.
