Gerard J. Connors, PhD

Dr. Connors’ research agenda broadly revolves around the assessment and treatment of alcohol use disorders. The specific aims of his current research include (1) assessment and intervention on treatment process variables, particularly therapeutic alliances, (2) identification of factors associated with posttreatment relapse and the maintenance of treatment gains, (3) the application of mindfulness interventions in alcohol use disorder treatment, and (4) the matching of patients to treatment as a function of patient characteristics.
