Responsible Conduct of Research Micro-credential

The Responsible Conduct of Research Micro-credential will help learners discern ways in which the principles of ethics are integrated into the design, conduct, oversight, and dissemination of research. Assignments related to the authority and professional standards for the responsible conduct of research, and procedures for reporting and investigating misconduct in research are explored.

The micro-credential improves participants’ ability to identify conflicts of interest and procedures to ensure ethical research is conducted with animals and human participants. In addition, learners explore issues related to determination of authorship in funding and publication.
