The project will involve testing materials that can be used to enhance bone regeneration at defects in the jaw bones of humans, using CT scanning techniques and developing a system of measurement of bone volume.

Seeking students to contribute to the Environmental Health Study for Western New York investigating environmental exposure in relation to health and identify ways to prevent disease in the future. 

Students will work with Professor Walter Hakala to research ancient technologies of water retrieval, storage, and distribution across present-day India along with current efforts to revitalize neglected structures.

Use deep reinforcement learning to improve radio resource scheduling in advanced cellular networks (LTE/5G).

Highly motivated students will assist in novel research into the statistics of aerosols in a unique flow-chamber through experiments using state-of-the-art high-speed lasers, high-speed tomography, and development of laboratory apparatus.

In this research we plan to design interactive AI models for different usecase applications like identifying bias in web-based contents, evaluating speakers’ mental health status in a multi-speaker video, predicting users’ interest for effective contextual advertising etc.

Design and implement algorithms/software to find the occurrence of micro-expressions from video files.

Contribute to core technologies that fuel spatial reasoning in future robotics and augmented reality applications.
