Students will join the Arany lab in using light based interventions to promote wound healing and tissue regeneration, using Lasers and LEDs and other non-invasive, non-pharmacological treatments to improve human health.

Students will work with various biomaterial fabrication techniques such as electrospinning, 3D printing and chemical synthesis to innovate biomedical applications that can sense and release antimicrobial agents.

Work on an exciting research project studying effects of substrate stiffness on vascular cell function and molecular players involved in the vessel stiffening process.
