Multi-Sensor Emotionally Intelligent, Social robotic agent as Companion
Our exploratory project aims to develop a Multi-Sensor Emotionally Intelligent, Social robotic agent that may enable two-fold assistance: proactive determination of a caregiver’s affective state within their unique personalized contexts toward facilitating timely intervention; developing an emotionally intelligent Human-Robot interaction mechanism that is perceived as friendly and credible for provably affecting individual’s mental health.
This is a collaborative project between CSE department and the School of Nursing at UB.
