UCLA Public Health Scholars

Overview

The UCLA Public Health Scholars Training Program provides undergraduate students and recent graduates from across the country the opportunity to explore the field of public health through hands-on training, structured workshops, group events, leadership, and professional development.

Scholars are matched with partner organizations to participate in dynamic fieldwork and make a meaningful impact in the Los Angeles community. They work in small groups to explore a health equity topic of their choosing and create a scientific poster to present at the CDC showcase in Atlanta, Georgia.
