American Association of University Women (AAUW)

Overview

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) has a diverse set of fellowships and grants for women pursuing research, certificates or advanced degrees. Some campus initiatives may be eligible for our community grants. There is also a new publication grant for engineering, medicine and science. The goal is to advance gender equity for women and girls through research, education and advocacy.

Typically November and December (varies per award).

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Meet the citizenship requirements (funding available for both national and international students, depending on award).
  • Be a woman scholar in any field of study.
  • Have a commitment to serve women and girls.
  • Demonstrate scholarly excellence (varied GPA requirements per award).
