  • Princeton in Asia Fellowships

    Princeton in Asia arranges year-long fellowships with Asian host organizations that contribute to important global issues at the local level: education, public health, environmental sustainability, access to information/media, economic development and social justice. Fellowships are the means of fostering person-to-person diplomacy, enhancing mutual understanding, contributing to communities with unmet needs and providing transformative experiences for fellows and host communities.
  • Princeton in Africa

    Princeton in Africa is the only leadership-development program of its kind currently operating on the African continent. Fellows engage in yearlong, full-time fellowships and make significant contributions to the success of each host organization, while deepening their understanding and appreciation for the advancement of African affairs. Fellows have contributed to improvements in 37 countries across the continent in the areas of: Business and Economic Development, Education & Youth Capacity Building, Public & Community Health, Environmental Conservation and Sustainability, and Civil Society.
  • North American Language and Culture Assistants Program (NALCAP)

    In the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program (NALCAP), American college students and graduates - who are native-like speakers of English - partner with elementary and secondary schools in Spain to bolster language programs, as language assistants (TAs) under the supervision and guidance of teachers in Spain. Placements are offered across Spain from Oct.1 to May 31. TAs work 14-16 hours per week and receive a monthly stipend of 800-1,000 euros along with health insurance.
  • Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program

    The JET Program is a competitive employment opportunity that allows young professionals to live and work in cities, towns, and villages throughout Japan. Being a JET is an opportunity to work and to represent the United States as cultural ambassadors to Japan. Most participants serve as Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) and work in public and private schools throughout Japan; some work as Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs) as interpreters/translators.
  • Interac Network

    Interac is Japan's leading private provider of Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs), or native-level English speakers working in Japanese classrooms. ALTs work in a wide range of schools throughout Japan, including elementary, junior, and senior high schools. ALTs may lead their own classes or support the Japanese teacher. An ALT's job combines a language instructor and a cultural ambassador.
  • Fulbright Student Grant for Graduate Study, Research Abroad or English Teaching Assistantship

    The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or for English teaching assistant programs. During their grants, Fulbright recipients will meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences. The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home and in routine tasks, allowing the grantee to gain an appreciation of others’ viewpoints and beliefs, the way they do things and the way they think. Through engagement in the community, the individual will interact with their hosts on a one-to-one basis in an atmosphere of openness, academic integrity and intellectual freedom, thereby promoting mutual understanding.
  • English Program in Korea (EPIK)

    The English Program in Korea (EPIK) was established in 1995 and is affiliated with the Korean Ministry of Education. Since its inception, EPIK has had the goals of improving the English-speaking abilities of Korean students and teachers, developing cultural exchange between Korea and abroad, and of introducing new teaching methods into the Korean education system. To help accomplish these goals, EPIK invites responsible, enthusiastic native English speakers with a motivation to share their knowledge and language with Korean students and teachers within the Korean public school system throughout the country.
  • Cultural Vistas Fellowship

    The Cultural Vistas Fellowship is a fully funded eight-week summer internship program that gives undergraduate students who have not yet participated in a formal study or internship abroad the opportunity to gain practical work experience abroad. Three cohorts of four to five fellows will spend the summer of 2020 in Buenos Aires, Berlin, or another English-speaking country. The Cultural Vistas Fellowship is open to students of all fields who can demonstrate their interest in or commitment to advancing their career goals, developing global competencies, and experiencing life in another culture.
  • American India Foundation (AIF) Banyan Impact Fellowship

    The AIF Banyan Impact Fellowship is a fully funded, interdisciplinary experiential learning program that places young professionals from India and the U.S. in service with communities across India. Through collaboration and capacity-building, fellows and local communities exchange knowledge and skills to steer projects that advance social and economic development. Fellows learn about grassroots development and inclusive leadership through fieldwork, mentorship, and conferences over the course of the program.
  • Ford Foundation Fellowships (Discontinued)

    Through its fellowship programs, the Ford Foundation seeks to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, to maximize the educational benefits of diversity and to increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.
