The Division of University Communications Student Scholarship supports the academic study of University at Buffalo undergraduate or graduate students pursuing careers in communications, marketing, graphic design, trademarks and licensing, photography, journalism, social media, project management or digitial media. The scholarship, presented annually, provides recipients with up to $2,000 for use toward educational expenses, such as tuition, books and fees.
The Division of University Communications is a team of 40 professionals focused on advancing UB's reputation by telling compelling stories with creativity, passion and authenticity. The office leads communications efforts for the university and provides expertise in marketing and brand management; writing, design, and multimedia production; news media relations; internal communications; crisis and issues management; social media; and trademarks and licensing. The team is passionate about advancing the careers of young professionals aspiring to enter the field of communications and provides opportunities to students through internships, assistantships and scholarships.
