Neuroscience BS/MS

Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences

Program Description

Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field of study that allows individuals to decipher the nervous system, which guides all behavior and cognition. In this program, students will examine the function and dysfunction of the brain through the utilization of a molecules-to-behavior approach. Students who complete a combined degree in neuroscience will be well-equipped to enter the job market in which neuroscience has become an increasingly driving force. This program is open to UB-approved neuroscience Bachelor of Science students. It is recommended for those interested in conducting hands-on mentored research to further their study.
