Kelley Severns, PE, PMP has worked for government, non-profit associations and for-profit consulting firms for nearly 30 years in the transportation industry. Kelley earned her BSCE and MSCE from the University of Kentucky, and has worked primarily with bridges and structures over the course of her career.
Kelley has a variety of experience ranging from designing and building bridges to managing codes and specification, and performing research. She worked for the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) as the Bridges and Structures Program Manager for over a decade.
Kelley spent several years working for large consulting firms and managing projects and research programs. Currently, Kelley works as a senior adivsor in the U.S. DOT, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research, Development and Technology
