She Started IT

She Started IT is an event that engages 6th to 10th grade female students from across the WNY community, along with UB students, faculty and alumni, to inspire girls to explore careers in computers, technology and entrepreneurship.

The event includes hands-on demonstrations, inspirational speakers, and the opportunity to meet and talk with female business founders.

Participation and Eligibility

She Started IT is a free event open to girls in 6th through 10th grade in WNY who are interested in technology and entrepreneurship. Registration is required prior to the event. Find out more.
