Annahita Ball is an expert on schools as community hubs that are uniquely positioned to address the complex needs of children and their families.
She can speak to the media about topics such as family engagement in student learning, and social services in schools, including mental health services.
Ball’s research focuses on the ways in which schools, families and communities can partner to provide innovative, long-lasting and meaningful services that foster positive youth development and promote equity in education. Her teaching interests include diversity and oppression, and she is a passionate advocate for educational justice and reform.
