David Doermann can speak to members of the media about a broad range of topics involving artificial intelligence, including its history and evolution, as well as more recent issues such as deepfake technology, national security and generative AI.
Prior to coming to UB, Doermann was a program manager at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where he oversaw a $150 million media forensics effort to combat evolving image and video manipulation technologies, and its risks to national security.
