Dhaval Shah can speak to the media about targeted drug therapies and biologics, including monoclonal antibodies, for cancer and other diseases.
A former principal scientist at Pfizer Inc., Shah’s work has led to the improved discovery and development of antibody‐drug conjugates, a class of drugs that target cancer cells. The scientific principles and mathematical models developed by his lab are routinely used by pharmaceutical companies for drug development. Shah has also developed models that more accurately predict the speed of tumor growth for 12 types of cancers.
Additionally, his work has included a model that helps improve pediatric drug dosage guidelines.
