Jack M. Sullivan can speak to media about issues and advances in ophthalmology, particularly in relation to his areas of specialty: retinal and macular degenerations.
Sullivan’s research focuses on the development of gene- and nucleic acid-based therapeutics for hereditary retinal degenerations and common age-related macular degeneration.
As a physician at the Ross Eye Institute (UBMD) and the VA Western NY Healthcare System, he works to diagnose, genetically verify and treat patients who are living with these conditions.
