John E. Tomaszewski is a pathologist. He is an expert on clinical laboratory testing and the use of clinical laboratory data for helping patients and clinicians plan treatment decisions.
Tomaszewski’s research and practice focus on renal pathology, immunopathology and urological pathology. He has provided tissue biopsy and clinical laboratory diagnoses, prognoses and therapeutic advice to patients and clinicians on medical and surgical diseases of the kidney (including kidney transplants), bladder, prostate and testis.
He has also been involved in the development of quantitative image analysis and computational pathology tools tailored to the needs of the diagnostic pathology community.
In addition to discussing his research areas, Tomaszewski can speak to media about the importance of anatomical gifts in the education of medical students.
