Childhood obesity, children’s eating habits, family health
Myles S. Faith is an expert on childhood obesity and the eating behavior of kids, as well as parents as agents of change for their children. He can discuss factors influencing healthy eating habits at school and at home.
As a researcher, Faith studies how the family and other social groups may contribute to the treatment of pediatric obesity, as well as how children’s temperaments may influence eating behavior and body weight.
He is interested in how parents and caregivers can incorporate positive strategies to encourage healthy eating. His work includes using telemedicine to treat childhood obesity at home in the context of a family environment.
