Nathalia Andrade combines digital technologies and artificial intelligence in dentistry to achieve higher treatment success, predictability and precision.
Andrade can discuss with the news media how AI can be integrated into education, clinical practice and research. In her teaching and clinical roles, she trains students to use AI-based software for more accurate, standardized interpretation of radiographic images, which improves diagnostic precision. She also applies AI tools in treatment planning and performing surgical procedures such as dental implants, crown lengthening and bone grafting.
She can also discuss her research, which focuses on using AI to analyze genomic profiling and aims to develop genetic-targeted therapies to improve treatment outcomes for periodontal disease.
