Bullying, cyberbullying, youth mental health, bullying interventions
Stephanie Fredrick can speak to the media about bullying and cyberbullying, child and adolescent mental health, and school social support, school climate and intervention.
As the associate director of the UB Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention, Fredrick’s research focuses on the harmful effects of bullying and cyberbullying on youth emotional well-being, including increased risk for stress, depression and suicide among victims. She also investigates how schools, families and communities can prevent bullying and promote resiliency among youth.
