Timothy Hellwig is an expert in political science, whose interests are in the areas of comparative political economy, political behavior, political parties, and research methods.
Much of his work examines the implications of changes in post-industrial economies on policy preferences, voting decisions, and political representation.
The Executive Approval Project, which is a global effort to measure and analyze public support for political executives. He is author or co-author of three books; “Economics and Politics Revisited,” “Democracy Under Siege? Parties, Voters and Elections after the Great Recession” and “Globalization and Mass Politics: Retaining the Room to Maneuver.”
