HOK's Drucker will address how context-sensitive design led to a building that pays homage to Buffalo’s architectural legacy while making a bold design statement for the city’s future.
The 218th anniversary of the birth of Millard Fillmore, UB’s first chancellor and 13th president of the United States, will be celebrated at a ceremony to be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, in Buffalo’s Forest Lawn Cemetery.
“Grey’s Anatomy” actor and activist Jesse Williams will appear at UB on Nov. 18 as part of the Distinguished Speakers Series. Williams, this year’s Undergraduate Student Choice Speaker, will speak at 7:30 p.m. in Alumni Arena, North Campus.
In honor of Veterans Day, the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine welcomes local veterans to receive a day of free dental screenings, extractions, restorations and denture repairs through its third annual Dentistry Smiles on Veterans.
UB will honor its veteran and military service members with a two-part program on Nov. 10. The celebration will begin at 11 a.m. with a flag ceremony at Flint Loop in front of Capen Hall on the North Campus.
