The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present Music is Art Live @ the Center in a series of six episodes at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Oct. 2 in the Mainstage theater in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus. The all-ages events are free and open to the public.

The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo and Funtime Presents will present Gov't Mule at 7 p.m. on Oct. 10 in the Mainstage theater in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus. The opening act will be Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.

The Center for the Arts announces the on-sale date for seven 2007-08 season performances. Tickets for all events go on sale Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. in the Center for the Arts Box Office, Ticketmaster outlets and ticketmaster.com. Tickets also may be charged by phone at 716-852-5000.

The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present Tango Buenos Aires at 8 p.m. on Oct. 4 in the Mainstage theater in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus.

The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present Craig Ferguson at 8 p.m. on Oct. 5 in the Mainstage theater in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus. The performance is sponsored by the Student Association.

The Center for the Arts has announced that the performance by Eager Artists Theater Company ("Ka-Masa") originally scheduled for Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. has been cancelled.

The way in which the electronic voices that answer our phones, help us make plane reservations and take our fast-food orders might be put to new, extremely useful and fascinating uses in the future will be the subject of a presentation on Sept. 26 at the University at Buffalo.

The New York New Music Ensemble, one of the world's premier 20th-century chamber music groups, will visit the University at Buffalo in September to take part in several activities for students and the public, including presenting the first concert of the Department of Music's Slee/Visiting Artist Series for 2007-08.

Family stories, political stories and those people use to create themselves and stories people use to explain themselves and explored in "The Story is True: The Art and Meaning of Telling Stories," authored by Bruce Jackson, SUNY Distinguished Professor in the Department of English and Samuel P. Capen Chair of American Culture at the University at Buffalo.

The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present Blue Suede Shoes - The Ultimate Elvis Bash at 8 p.m. on Jan. 18 the Mainstage Theatre in the Center for the Arts on the UB North (Amherst) Campus. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on July 13.
