Elizabeth Otto’s “Haunted Bauhaus” has won the Northeast Popular & American Culture Association’s 2020 Peter C. Rollins Book Prize, awarded annually for innovative scholarship in the fields of American and popular culture.
His innovative research spans an array of fields including artificial vision, artificial neural networks, optoelectronics and integrated sensor systems.
Four UB professors have been elected fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the world's largest general scientific society and publisher of the journal Science.
Robert Bies, associate professor in the UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, was named a 2020 fellow of the International Society for Pharmacometrics.
The award is presented to an International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics member in North America who has made significant contributions to their field of study.
