Joseph P. Balthasar has been named the first David and Jane Chu Endowed Chair in Drug Discovery and Development in the UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Western New York BloodCare has awarded the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences a second grant aimed at addressing a shortage of physicians in the region who specialize in treating non-malignant blood disorders.
The award is given annually to individuals who demonstrate leadership in advancement programs, furtherance of the philanthropic tradition, and public articulation of needs, goals, and issues in education.
