Now in its fifth year, the Social Impact Fellows program brings together students from three UB schools to create social innovation in Western New York.
"It is safe to say that the GreenDrill project requires more than double the logistical effort compared to any past Arctic expedition I’ve run," says Jason Briner, UB geology professor.
The program creates pathways for students at the University of Puerto Rico at Cayey, a federally designated Hispanic-serving institution, to pursue graduate studies at UB.
