BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A Pharmacy-Management Certificate Program is being offered for pharmacists and pharmacy managers by the University at Buffalo schools of Management and Pharmacy.
The 11-session program will be held on Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m. from Sept. 17 through Dec. 10 on the UB North (Amherst) Campus. Taught by UB faculty, the program will survey major topics and issues instrumental for adapting to changes in the pharmacy industry and will discuss the economic, administrative and managerial aspects of the profession.
Topics to be discussed include strategic planning, entrepreneurship, managed care, management strategies, marketing, communication skills, managerial accounting, introduction to pharmoeconomics and information technology.
