BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A workshop for entrepreneurs and business managers who wish to develop and improve their business plans is being offered by the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership in the University at Buffalo School of Management.
Workshop sessions will be held Tuesday evenings, from 6 to 8 p.m., March 3 through April 14 on the UB North (Amherst) Campus and will include an additional half-hour, one-on-one meeting with instructors. Participants are required to have a working knowledge of spreadsheets.
Workshop discussions will cover the pitfalls of poor planning, the importance of proper financial planning for business start-ups and long-term business success, and integration of all business functions within the financial plan.
Philip R. Perry, UB associate professor of finance, and Edward W. Hutton, CPA, managing director of Strategic Finance, Inc., will serve as workshop instructors.
