BUFFALO, N.Y. -- North Tonawanda resident Félix Rivas, a graduate student in the Department of Chemistry at the University at Buffalo, has been awarded a Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship based on his successful academic performance.
The fellowship, which will provide Rivas three years of support for his education, is administered by the National Research Council (NRC) under a grant from the Ford Foundation. The NRC is the principal operating agency of the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering to serve government and other organizations.
