Friends of UB School of Architecture And Planning Offer Walking Tours of Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The summer program of walking tours conducted by The Friends of the School of Architecture and Planning began on May 1 and will continue until Oct. 30.

Two 90-minute tours of downtown Buffalo are offered. The South tour, which includes the Landmark District, is conducted on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. The North tour, which includes the Theater District, is conducted on Thursdays at 2 p.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m.

All tours depart from the Market Arcade, 617 Main St., opposite the Theater District Metro Rail stop. Cost of the tours is $5 per person. For more information, call 829-3543.
