BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Robert R. Orrange has been named associate director of the Office of Career Planning and Placement at UB.
Orrange comes to UB from Buffalo State College, where for eight years he served as assistant director of the Career Development Center. His duties at UB will include developing programs for students enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences
President-elect of the Niagara Frontier College Placement Association, Orrange has earned several professional affiliations and serves on committees of the Buffalo/Niagara Partnership and SUNY Career Development Organization.
An adjunct faculty member in the Communication Department at Buffalo State, Orrange also has worked as a communications trainer and instructor for The Center for Industrial Effectiveness at UB and for Cornell University's Supervisory Studies Program. He has given several conference presentations statewide on issues in higher education.
Orrange holds a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees from Buffalo State College.
He is a resident of Kenmore.
