Third Annual Rockin' Rally at UB to Feature Concert by Pat Benatar

Pat Benatar, who in the 1980s reigned supreme as the biggest solo female rocker in the U.S. and possibly the world, will headline the third annual Rockin' Rally on Aug. 23 to kick off the University at Buffalo's 2002 football season.

The four-time Grammy winner's biggest hit was "Love is a Battlefield."

The rally also will feature the 2002 UB Bulls and head coach Jim Hofher, The Thunder of the East -- UB's marching band -- and the UB cheerleaders. It will begin at 7 p.m. in UB Stadium on the North(Amherst) Campus and end with a fireworks display.

Tickets are free for all UB football season ticket holders; individual tickets for the event are $15.
