Global Media and CNN to be Topic of Lecture

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Pamela S. Benson, a 1976 graduate of the University at Buffalo who is a senior reporter with Cable News Network, will offer her observations on "The Global Media and the 'CNN Effect'" during a lecture at 4 p.m. Oct. 21 in the Student Union Theatre on the UB North (Amherst ) Campus.

The lecture, which will be free of charge and open to the public, is sponsored by the Council on International Studies and Programs and the UB Alumni Association.
